Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety and stress can feel like unwanted guests that show up uninvited in our lives. It’s our body's way of warning us that something dangerous may happen, as a means to protect ourselves. However, when these feelings occur even when there are no potential dangers, they can be distressing and make it harder to function in your day-to-day activities.
Anxiety and stress can make you feel on edge, unable to relax, and/or constantly worried about things big and small. Physically, you may experience headaches, muscle tension, and even digestive issues! And that’s not all: your sleep can take a hit, full of restless nights and racing thoughts. Your relationships may also be affected, as anxiety and stress can make you more irritable and more inclined to self-isolate. All in all, anxiety and stress are not fun to endure and can be taxing on your well-being. Fortunately, there are things you can do to reduce anxiety and stress and get back to enjoying the good stuff in life.
